We have Scom 2016 that need to monitor share point .
as you know there is bug in scom 2016 agent that said install scom 2016 agent to be install with NOAPM
How can i use SCOM 2016 agent to monitor Sharepoint?
Does UR6 fix the problem ? or we need to upgrade or downgrade ?

Hi. My organization has this weird audit requirement to monitor SEP(Symantec Endpoint Protection) full scan not completed within the last 2 weeks. To my SCOM knowledge, I know there should probably be 2 ways to go about doing this;
1. log file monitoring based on event logs (Event ID 2: scan complete)
2. custom script
However I don't think i can configure the monitoring to check if the scan was done last 2 weeks if i do it by no.1. As such I am seeking advice on this and if anyone has any idea on the custom script.
P.s I tried to search for SEP management pack as well but can't seem to find any link to download. Not sure if the MP would help anyway.

After this, have to add Beanspy files to JBOSS server at location standalone\deployments and got below error;
{"JBAS014653: Composite operation failed and was rolled back. Steps that failed:" => {"Operation step-2" => {"JBAS014771: Services with missing/unavailable dependencies" => ["jboss.web.deployment.default-host./BeanSpy.realm is missing [jboss.security.security-domain.opsmgr]"]}}}
Please provide your inputs to resolve this.

BeanSpy is deployed to a Tomcat6 server running in Windows 2003, but BeanSpy/Stats is NOT returningcom.interopbridges.scx.jmx.TomcatJMXAbstraction. Is there a workaround for this?

Hi Team,
I am configuring JBOSS application in SCOM 1807 APM. Below are the steps followed:
After deployment of Beanspy, the application server was not discovered in SCOM console, so ran the command with NewJEEAppServer.ps1 script.
Now the JBoss server is discovered and showing healthy. The data started to collect in SCOM and able to check under performance as Class loader, Heap Memory etc..
The issue is, in SCOM console under Applications, there are no applications showing on that JBoss server.
Please provide inputs;

Web Console is configured for Mixed Authentication
OMADMIN account is part of the Operations Manager Administrator role (and Operations Manager Report Operator Role).
If I try to access http://om02/AppAdvisor from any machine -other- thanOM02, I get an error: "Authentication Error. User account: DOMAIN\OMAdmin. This user account does not have sufficient rights to use Application Advisor. Ask your Administrator to add this user account to the Operations Manager Report Operators role, and then try again."
However, if I access http://om02/AppAdvisor -FROM-OM02, I am granted access (using same OMAdmin account as above).
Now the weird part. After I access it once locally from OM02, I can access it remotely from another machine for a period of time. But if I come back a couple hours later and try... I get denied again.
Same thing happens for AppDiagnostic console as well.
Any help/clues?

Description : The APM Agent has encountered an error while processing APM .NET Server-Side monitoring configuration. This could be caused by an agent problem or by incorrect or conflicting configuration or thresholds specified in multiple templates for the same application.

If it would have been received for one or two servers then we could have proceed with the work around but we are receiving alerts for more than 30 servers at a time. We have not made any changes in SCOM application and have checked the performance threshold. Everything appears normal. Please suggest what needs to be done for trouble shooting or could resolve the issue.

i'm facing an issue i had AppDiagnostics and it was working smoothly on my customer side, but suddenly starting from 1st of OCT it has been stopped
no any new entry has been done, and the database is not getting any .NET Application alerts, other wise all other MPs and performance counters are working
the change has been done is that the customer installed AppDynamics on the same time, does it affect.
or and one faced an issue on this, other wise shall any one give me atroubleshooting steps about this

I am using Operation Manager SDK to fetch the performance counters from the SCOM server.
In the documentation it's suggests that API(GetMonitoringPerformanceDataReader and GetMonitoringPerformanceData) are now obsolete. So what are other ways to fetch the data from the SCOM Server? Is there any new API available? Can we fetch it through data base query? If we use database query is it the only best way to get the performance counters data?

get this error "Failed to validate OA address <ip address>. Unable to locate the HP On-board Administrator."
We successfully installed HP OneView for Microsoft System Center 9.5 used the dashboard to configure OA. We get the error as "Unable to add HPE OneView appliance. Error Code : 101. Please verify the IP Address/DNS Name or credentials."
Please Note that we have cross-checked our credentials.

the scom is running but I 'm sure that it doesn't monitor the root forest domain controller ,
it monitors the additional domain controller any thing happened in the dns like delaying in the dns reply I got an alert regarding that
although the monitor agent is running in the root forest domain controller,I don't get any alerts about the dns there I used to get resolution time alert of dns in the root domain controll but now I don't .what service I can make it down to ensure that the root domain control is monitored by the scom .

We have a JS Application, made with Angular stack hosted on IIS server. We've installed all MP to monitor IIS and APM, I am able to see Application Pools for the Application as well as all the things about IIS server, but there are no Application
in a "Application Monitoring" tab is presented .
What could be wrong ? Should I need to add some MP to monitor the App or doing some tricks with existing MP would help me ?
