In my environment I've monitored some web applications (ADFS) with the Web Application Transaction Monitoring template (Web recording), works perfect. Today I have tried to monitor some SharePoint websites using a watcher node in Ireland. I have entered the required credentials on the watcher node but I get alerts that the sharepoint site is not available.
In my opinion this is because the watcher node is not using the credentials I've setup in the credentials manager on. Is it possible to monitor HTTPS Sharepoint websites with credentials using the Web Application Transaction Monitoring Template ? What kind of runAsAccount I have to create ? Is this possible with the APM template ?
Someone got any experience with monitoring Sharepoint websites ?
