First I want to say that I tried to put this in the right category. There doesn’t seem to be a category explicitly for OMS.
I Recently started using Microsoft Operations Management Suite (OMS).
The problem started when I installed MMASetup-AMD64.exe. I started getting events that look like what is pasted in below.
/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Log Name: Application
Source: Microsoft-Windows-COMRuntime
Date: 6/28/2016 10:09:11 PM
Event ID: 10031
Task Category: None
Level: Error
Keywords: Classic
User: N/A
Computer: server.domain.local
Description:
An unmarshaling policy check was performed when unmarshaling a custom marshaled object and the class {45FB4600-E6E8-4928-B25E-50476FF79425} was rejected
//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
There are no onsite SCCM servers. All servers running this software appear to get this message.
Servers are 2012 r2.
I see lots of other folks with this type of problem over the past couple of years. As of yet after doing research I don't see any solid solutions for this. is this only an event that is non critical, or does it affect the reporting to OMS in any way?
Have a great day
Bill
