Hi,
I been thinking out of the box with our upcomming SCOM enviroment.
I want to know if the following flow scenario is something that could be done/coded into SCOM:
1) Windows 7 and windows 8 clients have a running agent which monitors default.
2) The agents are set to monitor special inhouse software and software related to these programs to work. (Dotnet,java etc)
3) When the agent gets a error (Startup, ping IP, corrupted files, access denied, etc etc), the agent tricker a repair of the programs related to the error!.. After repair, a silent test is enabled, and if program does not work, agent trickers a reinstall of the program.
The idea with this scenario is to make a enviroment, that fixes the errors automaticly instead of the user has to call IT support and make them fix it.
Does anyone know if this scenario is even possible and HOW? Anre refences?
