We've been testing APM in SCOM 2012 R2 and are about to put it in to production. When creating a new application to monitor and doing all the setup, it asks for an IIS reset of the host running the application. What changes are actually made inside
IIS or the application when this happens? I can't find anything that explains it, just lots of references to actually doing the IIS reset before it works so clearlysomething changes.
