Performance exception events are not collected in Application Diagnostics

I have SCOM 2012 APM instrumented for a Sharepoint 2010 site and I am getting application and perfromance alerts in the SCOM console, however when I select a performance alert and lick on the URL embeded in the alert description, I get a pop up message saying;

"The requested event is no longer available.  Event details may have been requested from an old alert where the underlying performance or exception event has been removed from the operational database.  Use the Application Diagnostics console to find performance or exception events similar to the alertthat you are investigating."

When I open Application Diagnostics I see all kinds of Application errors, but no performance errors.  Any suggestions why it seems there are no performance errors being captured in Application Diagnostics?

No issues with APM application alerts.  In the console when I click on the link in the application alert it opens up Application Diagnostics and works as expected.

Thanks

Keith
