Our Developers love our new SCOM 2012 R2 for getting information from our IIS8 web servers.
One problem that keeps coming up is that the App Advisor stops collecting data.Typical report would be the "Summary Failure Analysis" generating a report over the last 4-7 days will give the message "no data collected"
The SCOM 2012 R2 installation is on a single server (2012R2 OS), it is a dedicated physical server (We have a small environment) and it has the latest rollup 2 installed (verified it was installed successfully) along the latest MS updates. Resource Monitor show plenty of spare capacity. SQL 2014 STD is installed on the server (memory limited to 4Gb) to cover the relative small database needed of SCOM. A CheckDB on every database shows all with 0 errors.
A reboot of the SCOM server will solve the issue for 4-6 days, then it happens again?
Any suggestions where I need to look for issues?
